Disney Lorcana card values

Lorcana value concentrates in enchanted cards, early chapter print runs, and the legendaries that see competitive play. The rarity icon sits at the bottom of the card, and enchanted versions use a full-art treatment that is immediately obvious next to a standard print.

Rarity icons and what they signal

Lorcana prints a rarity icon at the bottom of every card, and the tiers are easy to learn because there are only a handful.

Enchanted cards carry most of the value

An enchanted card is the same character with borderless full artwork and a distinctive foiling. Pull rates are very low, and demand comes from collectors rather than players, so prices sit far above the standard print of the same character.

When checking a Lorcana price, confirming whether you hold the standard or enchanted version changes the answer by an order of magnitude.

CardBoom prices Lorcana alongside Pokémon, One Piece, Magic and four other games, with each print tracked separately.

Early chapters had smaller print runs

Lorcana's first chapters sold out quickly and were printed in lower quantities than later sets, which had supply adjusted upward once demand was clear.

That supply gap still shows in prices. Cards from the earliest chapters trade above equivalent rarities from later ones, and sealed product from those chapters carries a clear premium.

Playability moves the mid-tier

For rares and legendaries that see competitive play, prices track the metagame. A card that anchors a winning deck rises quickly, and the rise reverses when the deck falls out of favour.

Collector-driven enchanted cards behave differently and are far less sensitive to tournament results.

Condition matters as much as in any TCG

Lorcana foiling scratches like any other modern card, and the borderless enchanted treatment shows edge wear clearly because artwork runs to the edge.

Sleeve enchanted pulls immediately. The difference between a clean copy and a lightly played one is significant at that tier.

Sealed product versus singles

Sealed Lorcana boxes from the early chapters have appreciated because supply stopped while interest kept growing. Later chapters were printed to meet demand, so the same effect is much weaker.

For singles, the calculation is simpler: buy the specific card you want rather than paying for the chance of pulling it. Expected value on modern sealed product almost never beats buying the singles outright.

Where Lorcana prices come from

Lorcana is young enough that price history is thin compared with Pokémon or Magic. Fewer recorded sales means a single unusual transaction can distort an average.

Look at a run of recent sales rather than one number, and treat a card with only two or three recorded sales as loosely priced rather than firmly valued.

Common questions

What makes a Lorcana card enchanted?

Enchanted cards use borderless full artwork with a distinctive foil treatment, and they are pulled far less often than legendaries. They are the scarcest tier in the game and price accordingly.

Are early Lorcana chapters worth more?

Generally yes. The first chapters had smaller print runs before supply was adjusted for demand, so equivalent rarities from those sets trade above later printings.
